Steelhead can be found cruising the beaches and creek mouths beginning in September. Great surf casting opportunities exist! Fishable numbers are in the rivers by early October. There are two primary runs of Lake Erie Steelhead. Fall run (September-December) and Spring run (January-May) although, great fishing can exist all winter if conditions allow.
We offer both Float and Wade trips on all Lake Erie Tributaries. This includes Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
Predator Fishing has quickly become the favorite target species for us! You earn every ESOX you catch but each fish leaves you with a memory that lasts a lifetime! In Ohio, we are lucky to enjoy several tremendous fisheries for both Musky and Pike! Populations that boast both quantity and quality!
We pursue Musky and Pike every month of the year if conditions allow. Prime season is from May through October. But the best fishing of the year can happen on the edge of that season in terrible weather! Musky /Pike fishing is a great fallback option if Steelhead rivers get blown out! You DON'T have to leave your home state to chase trophy caliber Musky!
Ohio is ground zero for our program but we offer options in Pennsylvania and New York as well.
Ohio has great natural populations of both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass! Bass are great fun to throw flies at. We fish a variety of different locations from small streams and rivers to lakes and ponds. In my opinion few things in Fly Fishing are more enjoyable than casting topwater flies for Bass!
We chase Bass from Late April through October. This is known as Ohio's "Warmwater Season" . Also, we receive great numbers of "Lake Run" Smallmouth bass that use our rivers to spawn from April to early June. This window offers the chance at trophy size Smallmouth Bass!
